Academic Computing Resources
(Computer Labs)

Bergen Community College provides computer resources for academic use at the Paramus campus, the Philip J. Ciarco Learning Center in Hackensack, and Bergen at the Meadowlands. The computing resources include PC and Macintosh platforms. Most computers provide UNIX and high-speed Internet access. The computers are loaded with software programs required to support current classes at Bergen Community College. The computers have the Microsoft Office Suite, desktop publishing, CAD/CAM, electronic music, animation, and business-related programs installed where appropriate and necessary.

Designated Free Time labs are open every day, Sunday through Saturday. Students who want to use the lab must have a current, validated Bergen Community College Student ID card to use these resources. Click here to view the current Free Time Lab Schedule.

Dedicated, specialized Computer Lab Classrooms are open at regularly scheduled times in order to provide students access to curriculum specific software. Free time schedules are posted in each of these rooms.

Visit the Office of Academic Computing, room S-350, for additional information about these resources.
